Ellen DeGeneres announced on her talk show today that she is replacing Paula Abdul on American Idol! 

I was waiting for Ellen to say she was joking, but she wasn’t!  Ellen, 51, said, “I have a big announcement to make.  No one knows this … I am going to be the new judge on ‘American Idol.’”

WOW…this is GREAT!  I LOVE Ellen.  I might actually watch the show now! 

I can’t wait to see how Ellen changes the show!
