They came to the Anaheim Convention Center to tell fans in person, joining Walt Disney Studios Chairman Dick Cook on Friday at the D23 Expo, Disney's answer to Comic-Con.
Robert Zemeckis came to present his upcoming 3D take on "A Christmas Carol." Cook said the Oscar-winning director will write and direct a 3D adaptation of the Beatles' 1968 classic animated film "Yellow Submarine."
Jerry Bruckheimer brought "Prince of Persia: The Sands of Time," due next year. Bruckheimer will also helm a new big-screen adaptation of "The Lone Ranger" starring Johnny Depp, Cook said.
The D23 Expo runs through Sunday.
