Kanye West Apologizes to Taylor Swift

Kanye West has taken to his blog to issue an apology to singer Taylor Swift. Read on to see what he has to say.

West wrote, "I'm sooooo sorry to Taylor Swift and her fans and her mom. I spoke to her mother right after and she said the same thing my mother would've said. She is very talented!"

He admitted, "I'm in the wrong for going on stage and taking away her moment!"

This statement comes after West unexpectedly joined Swift on the stage as the young singer accepted the award for Best Female Video at MTV's "2009 Video Music Awards." Before a shocked audience, West proclaimed that Beyonce deserved that award for "Single Ladies."

He also wrote on his blog, "Beyonce's video was the best of this decade!!!...Everybody wanna booooo me but I'm a fan of real pop culture!!!"

  • I 've never listened to Taylor Swift's songs before, but after hearing about the incident and watching her on the Oprah show recently, I can't help but admire her. A class act and very mature for her age. Her parents must be very proud.
