Whoopi Goldberg tears up on "The View" as she talks about her 'Ghost' co-star Patrick Swayze.

"He never thought of himself of dying," she said on "The View" today. "He worked up to the last minute. He never gave up. I would like to have that bravery."

Whoopi went on to thank Patrick for one of the biggest movies in her career. "Because of Patrick Swayze I got that movie," she said referring to 'Ghost.' "Because of Patrick Swayze I got that Oscar."
