Stars Remember Patrick Swayze in New York

Celebs remembered actor Patrick Swayze as they stepped out in New York on Wednesday night for US Weekly's 25 Most Stylish New Yorkers party.

Swayze passed away after a battle with pancreatic cancer on Monday and everyone from Christie Brinkley to Elle MacPherson to Martha Stewart had thoughtful words to express over Swayze's passing.

Brinkley told "The Insider," "I never had the opportunity to meet him, but his sweetness just jumps off the screen. You can just tell he is every bit as sweet as the character he played in 'Ghost.'" MacPherson commented that he was "courageous till the end."

US Weekly's third annual Top 25 Most Stylish New Yorkers party coincides with New York's Fashion Week. "The View"'s co-host Sherri Shepherd traded in the tank tops she sported in LA for high style when she moved to New York. She told "The Insider," "Here in New York you have to dress up all the time, so I'm getting into clothes and fashion and shoes. I love it."

Supermodel MacPherson said, ""This is business for me...I try to make as minimal fuss as possible...If I can wear something out of my closet and I'm comfortable, I think that's the most important thing."
