Burt Reynolds Released From Rehab

In a follow-up to an earlier report, Burt Reynolds' manager confirms to the Associated Press that the actor has been released from rehab.

Erik Kritzer, Reynolds' manager, cites that the star's struggles began with pain medication prescribed following back surgery. According to the AP, Kritzer said in a statement that Reynolds "realized that he was in the prison of prescription pain pills."

Reynolds sought help at the Hanley Center in West Palm Beach, Florida. According to the AP report, Kritzer had no details as to when the star was admitted or released from the treatment center. The center declined to comment on the actor's stay, citing patient confidentiality.
