The 3-d film will see Carrey as the cold-hearted and selfish old man, Mr. Scrooge, who despises Christmas and the whole town's people. His complete turnaround comes after he is visited by the three ghosts of Christmas, who show him his past, present and future.
The actor will also appear as the three ghosts and other characters.
Also appearing in a multitude of roles are Gary Oldman, Cary Elwes, and Bob Hoskins. Colin Firth, Robin Wright Penn, and Daryl Sabara are also starring.
