Janet Jackson Sends Taylor Swift Flowers After Kanye West Incident

In an interview Friday on 102.7 KIIS FM’s "On-Air with Ryan Seacrest," country music star Taylor Swift revealed some surprising celeb reactions to the headline-grabbing "2009 MTV Video Music Awards" moment last Sunday, when Kanye West interrupted her acceptance speech.

"It's wonderful to have so much love and support sent in my direction," Taylor told Ryan. "I got flowers from Janet Jackson!"

When Ryan asked Taylor what Janet wrote on the card, the 19-year-old almost read the message before she was asked not to by her publicist.

But she did tell Ryan: "[The card] was really, really nice and everybody was really sweet to me this week, and I focused on that a lot."

So, will Taylor write a song about the infamous VMA moment?

"I think that in order to write a song about something, I have to have clarity and I have to be completely sure about what I feel about it," Taylor said. "And, I’m not there yet."

Since the VMAs, Kanye West apologized for his outburst via his blog, then on "The Jay Leno Show" on Monday, and again on Tuesday by calling Taylor after her appearance on "The View."
