Ellen DeGeneres versus Paula Abdul?

Just In: Paula Abdul Wishes Ellen 'The Best of Luck' on 'American Idol'

Ellen DeGeneres is a famously funny lady, but she was the punch line when Paula Abdul imitated her during the "VH1 Divas" concert.

All in good humor, Abdul sported Ellen's signature outfit -- a blazer with trousers and sneakers -- in a spoof during her hosting gig of the music special.

The talk show host took it all in stride, replying via her Twitter account.

"Paula, you’re hilarious," Ellen writes on the micro-blog site. "You’ve left me some big shoes to fill…unfortunately I don’t wear high heels. Nothing but love for you too."

  • Ellen will probably add many laughs to the show, but does not have the expertiz that Paula has.

  • Paula's dance was in poor taste. She walked away from the job and they offered it to Ellen, as the saying goes "you snooze you lose". Grow up Paula and get a life.
