Apparently, it wasn't such an awesome idea to have Maksim Chmerkovskiy and Karina Smirnoff perform at last night's Emmy Awards. Who knew? E! Online reports that Karina and Maksim, who called off their engagement a mere two weeks ago, caused a major scene before and after their dance performance last night. Says an eyewitness from backstage, where the sparks flew, "They were going at it, screaming at each other. He said she was taking too long in hair and makeup. It got kind of loud." Shocking.
