Mackenzie Phillips: My Father Shot Me Up For the First Time

In a new tell-all interview, "One Day at a Time" child star Mackenzie Phillips discloses to Oprah Winfrey shocking details of her unhealthy relationship with her father, her drug use and an alleged sexual encounter with The Rolling Stones' frontman Mick Jagger.

"My father shot me up for the first time," Phillips reveals on a promo for "The Oprah Winfrey Show." She recalls her father only being slightly nervous when he injected her with cocaine, saying it seemed to be the "next logical progression."

"I remember going into my room, I was crouched on the floor. ... He put the needle in my arm and put the plunger in and he missed. He missed the vein and my whole arm went numb."

In addition to talking about her early drug use, Phillips also opened up about an alleged run-in she had with Jagger when she was 18, saying, "Mick Jagger locks the door and he says, 'I've been waiting for this since you were 10 years old."

Phillips' explosive interview will air on "The Oprah Winfrey Show" on Wednesday, Sept. 23, and her memoir High On Arrival will also hit bookstores on the same day.

  • I believe only half of her story, anyone wants to dtich dirt on people who are dead. Why is she being rewarded for trash when she was arrested only in 2008. isnt everyone sick of celebrities writing book about drug problesm when they STILL HAVE DRUG...
