Songstress Amy Winehouse is launching her new label, Lioness Records, with a little help from her 13 year old God-daughter Dionne Bromfield. Lioness Records was inspired by Berry Gordy's Motown label and will be a place where an artist is given the time, space and the opportunity to develop and flourish. Her debut album, 'Introducing Dionne Bromfield,' features Motown covers, including the first single from the album, the Shirelles' hit 'Foolish Little Girl.'
"The first time I heard Dionne sing, I couldn't believe what I was hearing... such an amazing voice from such a young girl. I'm just so proud of her. I'm very lucky to have a record label. I've got all these people that I love, that are really talented - and Dionne is my number one"
Amy's most recent album, 'Back to Black,' sold 10 million copies and earned the songstress 5 GRAMMY's.
