Jamie Foxx Given a ‘Due Date’

Foxx: 'Everything's Good' Despite Reported Stalker

Jamie Foxx is joining a growing cast of Hollywood headliners in 'Due Date.'

According to The Hollywood Reporter, Jamie will be seen with the likes of 'Iron Man 2''s Robert Downey Jr. and 'The Hangover''s Zach Galifianakis in this comedy. The plot follows a jittery father-to-be, played by Downey, Jr., who hitches a ride from Galifianakis' character, a slacker college student, as he tries to make it to witness the birth of his child.

Downey Jr.'s wife is played by Michelle Monaghan, who hides a secret -- she's kept in touch with an ex-boyfriend, played by Foxx, who also happens to be a friend of her husband.

'Due Date' is scheduled to begin filming this fall in Atlanta, New Mexico, and Los Angeles. Foxx can next be seen in 'Law Abiding Citizen,' in theaters October 16.
