Barbara Walters and Others Comment on Letterman

Barbara Walters, Sherri Shepherd and more stars opened up about David Letterman's alleged extortion revelation, at the premiere party for Sherri's new Lifetime show, "Sherri."

Last Thursday, Letterman admitted to having affairs with coworkers, after a man allegedly tried to blackmail him with the information. Tonight, Barbara told ET, "I think that David has been extremely open about a very difficult situation and I give him great credit for being this open. He's not trying to hide anything."

"I have a lot of respect for David Letterman," Sherri said as she celebrated the premiere of her show.

"Sherri" premiered Monday night on Lifetime. Watch our video for more!

  • I guess a small of group feels no ashamed anymore to publish his or her affair or sexuality relatioship to public. They are just so proud. There is no standard moral anymore as a public figure.
