Based on the judge's scores, Tom DeLay may have two left feet, but the politician also has stress fractures in both of his feet. He told "The Insider" that he pushed through the pain because "It was a great fun dance." He continued, "My father taught me, I was raised in the oil field, and he taught me I could never quit…at anything and I never have."
Aaron Carter did not make the situation any easier for Tom on Monday night. Aaron confessed, "I accidentally stepped on his foot backstage, so I felt really bad."
The pop star is facing his own aches and pains. He injured his knee in rehearsal earlier in the day on Monday. He told "The Insider," "It hurt and I tried to push through it as much as possible and it might have affected...a couple of different moves."
Football star Michael Irvin commends Tom's perseverance, saying, "I thought it was great that he said his dad taught him never to quit. That's a message we all need." Right now, Michael's biggest injury is his broken heart inflicted by the low scores awarded to him by the judges on Monday night.
Mya, sitting atop the scoreboard for the second straight week, does not know what the future has in store for her. She told "The Insider," "I feel great getting this far because I don't know what tomorrow brings. It could be an injury, it can be anything...I don't know how my body is going to adjust to so many different things..." In the here and now, she admits her "feet kill...in these heels."
