Adrien Brody To Star in Updated 'Predator' Film

According to a new report, Adrien Brody will star in a new spin on 'Predator.'

In the revamp, titled 'Predators,' Brody will play a character similar to the one originally played by Schwarzenegger, according to Daily Variety. The film, which is being produced by Robert Rodriguez, will reportedly kick off production shortly in Hawaii and in Austin, Texas.

Brody will play a mercenary and alien hunter in the film, which producers are hoping could spawn a new franchise. 'Predators' is set to be released on July 9, 2010, Variety reports.

  • Hmm... this could be interesting. Adrien Brody seems like an actor with a lot of integrity, he wouldn't sign on for this if it wasn't any good. Plus, the director is Robert FRICKIN' Rodriguez. That definitely shows some promise.

  • I think that's great besides he dosent have to look like arnold, he's playing a different character, robert rodriguez puts out great work I'm sure it will turn out great. But please no cg that takes the enjoyment out of the movies it's so obvious.
