“The Insider”’s Samantha Harris, dressed in a form-fitted mini-dress, hosted the event.
The night seemed like a “Dancing with the Stars” reunion. Last season’s finalist Gilles Marini was on hand to present his former pro partner Cheryl Burke with the award for Hollywood Style Choreography. He told “The Insider” who he is rooting for on this season of the show. He said, “I like to see people that actually come from the same background that I had, meaning zero and Mark Dacascos has zero experience.”
Current “Dancing” sweetheart Kelly Osbourne talks about the relationships she has formed with her stylists and how they have become like her “big sister.” She was crowned Style Original.
California gal Lauren Conrad presented her stylist with a prize. Her “Hills” co-star Brody Jenner took home the trophy for Hollywood Style Maker. Surprised to receive an award for style, he said, “I like to wear something nice, but also switch it up with something casual. I always like to wear a suit and throw in Converse... I think style is about being comfortable.”
Sound the alarm! Kim Kardashian was named Style Siren. She called her style, “sexy and sophisticated and trendy at times.” She dished to “The Insider” that her sister Kourtney and brother-in-law Lamar Odom are “doing really good.”
Awards were also presented to Selena Gomez for Style Ingenue and Hayden Panettiere for Style Icon.
