  Star Jones is an idiot if she thinks Roman is the only one to blame here. Where were the parents of this 13 year old? What kind of a parent sends a child off on a photo shoot unsupervised? and the fact that they knew the shoot was at Jack Nicholsons house (a well known womaniser) and photographer Roman well known for his penchant for young girls. Unbelievable that the parents have not been brought up for neglect. everything has 2 sides Star, stop playing the race card and look at your own numerous faults. Ugly is as ugly does.

  I want to be sure that I understand Ms.Jones correctly and her defenders as well...she is incensed (and others,too) that Liberal Hollywood is defending a known
  child molester.When they've also defended a known Cop-Killer( A Black Man) for years and have tried for
  years to get him out of prison.And so for Ms.Jones and others to say that it is wrong for them to come to the
  defense of a White child-molester is wrong and that they
  wouldn't do the same if the child-molester was Black,but should?! Hello! What is wrong with you people anyway?

  p.s.I remember a few years ago on The View when
  Star Jones said that she didn't care how her diamonds
  were acquired(Barbara Walters was talking about
  the Blood Diamonds from the Congo) just as long as
  she could get her 'ICE'.She got away with that remark
  because she is Black but if a White woman had said that...there would've been hell to pay! >:(

  star jones merely echoed what so many of us people of color know and have already known regarding the justice system
  
  i think its ridiculous that somebody gets away with molesting a child, just because he was able to flee the country and evade the american justice system for so long
  
  if he had been black OR working class, they would have found a way to track him down and drag his butt back to the states to serve out his sentence
  
  and all the dustup and controversy in the media over star's telling the truth just illustrates this ongoing divide between whites and people of color
  
  so many caucasian americans and others to just pretend that issues of race, class and priveledge aren't real…so they just prefer not to acknowledge them….and get offended when someone does
  
  thanks, star, for speaking the truth, and continue to stick to your convictions, and tell the truth; no matter how ugly it can be, or how uncomfortable some can be to hear it

Kanye west stood up and too kthe mike form a little white girl at an awards show and would never have gotten away with that if he had been a white man doing that to a black person.. and where was the "race card" here? No one said a word BECAUSE he was black?! no one broguth up race there, but surely it had lots more to do with race than this polanski thing ever did

  He was in FRANCE.. France has no expidition treaty with the USA, that I know of... That scumbag could have been purple!! How can race even be an issue here?

  Polanski needs to be punished ..bottom line.. Star and Niecy need to check themselves though on their attitudes. In fact the whole panel act like they are so "special" put some real people on there and see what kind of opinions you get that are real.
