Heather Mills Doesn't Want to Look at Cows?
Heather Mills is reportedly trying to purchase the land next to the £3 million, 9-bedroom home she recently bought. The reason she gave for trying to buy the property is because she can't bear to look out over the fields filled with cows destined for slaughter. The couple who own the property, John and Barbara Smith, claim they have been approached twice in the last month by Heather's representatives. The property which houses the cows pretty much allows them to wander very close to Mills' house. A former city lawyer, Mr. Smith said:

"(Heather's aide) came over to me and asked whether I would be prepared to sell my land. No price has been discussed yet."


Mrs Smith added:

"We were told that initially she didn't like looking at the cows on our land because she is a vegetarian."


Rumors suggest the real reason behind trying to buy the property is to keep the paparazzi far away. One resident said:

"This is clearly all about her privacy. From the public footpath it's possible to see into her property."


So regardless of why Mills wants to purchase the property, Mr. & Mrs. Smith claim they are not as interested in selling. Smith said:

"I said first of all I don't want to sell. I have now indicated that I would be prepared to talk about it but that's all. I don't know if I am interested in anything at the moment. Even if she managed to buy it, she could not move the footpath because you can't close a public footpath."

It looks like money is not an object for Mills these days eh? With all the money she is about to gain, too bad she can't pay people to like her.
