The Upper East Side's elite stepped out to support their co-star at Monday night's premiere. Spotted: Chace Crawford, Ed Westwick, Matthew Settle, Taylor Momsen, and Jessica Szohr.
Taylor said, "I've heard so much about ['The Stepfather'] from Penn personally, so I can't wait to see it and support him... Congratulations to Penn."
Penn told "The Insider," "I'm really glad they came." He appreciated that they could find time to support his endeavor on the silver screen.
Would his "Gossip Girl" character enjoy this movie? He said, "I bet you Dan is a bit too highbrow for thrillers. I bet you he turns his nose down at them, but I love them."
Penn promised the film will "draw you in, make you care about the characters." The audience's investment in the characters will "make the thrills more thrilling, the scares scarier."
'The Stepfather' will be released in theaters nationwide on Friday, October 16.
