But does it defeat the purpose? Michael Lohan has finally decided to apologize to daughter Lindsay for calling her publicly out on her drug use. But he does so publicly. So, um, we're confused. Doesn't that kind of defeat the purpose?

Michael Lohan is just using this to help his career, just as his buddy is doing. If he was sincere he would have went to his daughter privately. No wonder his relationship with her is so rocky!
