The View Announces Whoopi As A Host. What About Sherri Shepherd?

What about Sherri Shepard?  Wasn’t she also supposed to be a new host on The View?  Did ABC not want two women of color?  Would that have made Barbara Walters nervous?

The new rumor is that Barbara wants Kathy Griffin to take the final hosting spot.  Apparently, Bravo has cancelled Kathy’s reality show, so Kathy will need a job soon.  The sticking points are having Kathy move to New York, and her comedy tour.

If Babs wants her that bad she will certainly give Kathy time in her schedule to perform her tour.  Moving to New York may be deal breaker.

What do you think about this situation?  Did Sherri Shepherd get screwed?  Will Kathy take the job?  Will Rev. Al Sharpton boycott The View because he thinks Babs is a racist?

I don’t know any of the answers, but I can’t wait to find out!
