The 11-year-old NPR news program has arrived in New York for the first time after touring to locations such as Wichita, Kan., and Sioux Falls, S.D.
The weekly satirical news quiz show is taping at the venerable New York theater Thursday for an episode to air over the weekend. NBC anchorman Brian Williams is the guest.
"Wait, Wait" is hosted by Peter Sagal along with Carl Kasell. It draws nearly 3 million listeners a week, and another 1 million download the podcast of the show.
