Reality TV mom of eight Kate is opening up to Natalie Morales of the "Today" show on a TLC special airing Monday night called, "Kate: Her Story." A sneak peek of the interview appeared on "Today" Monday morning.
Kate, who has been the subject of a media frenzy since news broke that she and husband Jon were divorcing, tells Natalie in the interview, "I'm awake in the middle of the night, thinking, am I making the best decision?"
She says that she finds it hard to trust people these days: "When you look around, and very close trusted people who you would swear on your life would never, ever, ever, you know, cash you in, for lack of a better word, and those people do that, and people leave your house and tell completely different stories, you tend not to trust people."
She says that she only has a "very, very small group of people" on her side these days.
