Kanye West is Facing a Crisis!

After Kanye’s MTV VMAs fiasco with Taylor Swift, he finds himself in a dangerous career fallout.  His “Fame Kills” tour with Lady Gaga was canceled, amid rumors of disappointing sales, that has now been confirmed.  Despite having nine nominations, he was a no-show at the October 10 BET Hip-Hop Awards, with non excuse, so far.  In a preventive move he was shut out of the recently announced nominations for the 2009 American Music Awards.

Kanye, who kept working after his mother died in 2007, has been on a much-needed break. “The last couple years have been a lot, and it’s worn on him.” says a source at his label, Island Def Jam. “He just got back from a vacation last week and is getting guidance from people closest to him,” he added.

At this point, our advice for repairing his image is perhaps a cameo with Taylor Swift when she hosts “Saturday Night Live,” on November 7, 2009.  But, then again…it might be too late!
