Question: What type of skirt should you wear if you have big hips? I have a skinny waist, but larger hips. Thank you, Jodi.
Answer: You should wear a pencil skirt because it will lengthen and elongate your body. An a-line skirt can make your hips look wider.
Q: I have a lot of black clothes that I am looking to brighten up with accessories. Is there anything you would suggest along the lines of colored jewelry or colored hats?
A: Try a hot pink belt with a black dress, a citrine cardigan with a black tank, or a multi-colored scarf with a black jacket. Black looks good with accent colors so have fun brightening up your blacks!
Q: Where can I find the turquoise beads worn with the green outfit?

Q: My skin color has a yellow undertone, does this mean I can't wear yellow?
A: You can wear yellow! Here’s what you need to do: Try different shades of yellow from pale, to mustard, to gold. Hold up the different shades to your hair and skin, and get rid of the ones you think are awful. There will be one that is the right shade! Everyone deserves a little yellow in their wardrobe!
Q: Can you please tell folks that red and burgundy don't go together. And what about girls with the hips, those straight skirts don't work.
A: Actually, if you get the right size, pencil skirts look great on girls with hips because they create a long, lean line. An a-line or puffy skirt can add extra bulk, and make your hips appear bigger. Remember: dark colors are most flattering for everyone!
