"Why did it happen? ... What was wrong with you?" the R&B singer responds to MTV correspondent Sway when asked to reflect back on the night of the highly publicized incident.
Following the domestic dispute, Brown was sentenced to five years of probation, community labor and one year of domestic violence counseling.
In “Chris Brown: The Interview," premiering on the cable channel November 6, the singer says that he's currently trying to get back on track. "How do you, Chris, go from point A to point B?" he asks himself. "How do you learn from your mistakes, turn it into a positive and help other people with the situation ... and at the end of the day become the person that you want to be?"
ABC News has announced that Brown's ex-girlfriend, Rihanna, will sit down with Diane Sawyer in an interview that is scheduled to air on "Good Morning America" on Thursday, Nov. 5 and Friday, Nov. 6 at 7 a.m. ET -- and then on Nov. 6 at 10 p.m. ET on "20/20."
Rihanna tells Diane, "The more in love we became, the more dangerous we became for each other."
