Morgan Freeman has reportedly settled a lawsuit regarding a 2008 car accident that left the star injured.The Associated Press reports that the actor, who was sued by Demaris Meyer back in February, has settled the suit.
"We're all glad it's over with," Freeman's attorney Jack Hayes Jr. told the AP.
Meyer had claimed that the Oscar winner was being negligent at the time of the accident, which resulted in the car running off a Mississippi highway and flipping over several times, says the AP. Meyer, who was also injured in the accident, owned the 1997 Nissan Maxima but Freeman was driving.
Settlement details were not listed in the court documents, according to the AP.
