Britney Spears May Lose Custody

Kevin Federline has filed an order to show cause for primary physical custody of his two sons with ex-wife, Britney Spears, according to a source. The documents were filed in Los Angeles Superior Court on Wednesday by Federline’s lawyer, according to the source.

Spears and Federline’s divorce was finalized less than two weeks ago. At the time, the couple agreed to split custody 50-50 of Sean Preston, 22 months, and Jayden James, 10 months.

But a source close to Federline told PEOPLE that the would-be-rapper was worried Spears was exposing the boys to “unnecessary risk” and that his lawyer, Mark Vincent Kaplan, “hopes to get Kevin primary custody.”

This news comes shortly after the story broke of Britney playing topless Truth or Dare with an “extra” from her new video, although I’d be surprised if the real reason didn’t have more to do with K-Fed going to collect the kids and Britney handing him a sack of potatoes with “Jayydin Jaims” scribbled on it in magic marker.

While we’re at it, maybe we should try to rescue any living creature from Britney. And not just that poor dog she’s been schlepping around — I’m told she keeps a potted fern in her kitchen, and there’s probably some frightened roaches that have been camping out in discarded bags of pork rinds on her bedroom floor. The poor things are probably scared less.
