Aaron Carter Ousted on 'Dancing with the Stars'

The song is over for Aaron Carter! The pop star was booted from the ballroom Tuesday night on "DWTS," one week shy of the competition's semifinals.

After Carter and his pro partner Karina Smirnoff were eliminated, the singer said he appreciated the lessons he'd learned on the show, telling Karina and the judges, "I've grown so much from your compliments and your criticism."

"The dedication that you have shown week after week is absolutely fantastic," judge Len Goodman told him. "If you were my son, I'd be so proud of you."

The final four teams proudly advancing into the semifinals are Mya and Dmitry Chaplin, Joanna Krupa and Derek Hough, Kelly Osbourne and Louis van Amstel, and Donny Osmond and Kym Johnson. Tune into to "DWTS" next Monday to watch them compete!

Also on Tuesday's results show, singing sensations Susan Boyle and Michael Buble performed.

Oh, good, cry baby is gone. Not sure Donny can hack 3 dances and his Vegas show......hope so. I like the remaining 4, hate to see Kelly go, but the network has to keep Donny in the game to keep their viewer numbers. I think Joanna will win the disco...

- Oh, I think Donny will be able to handle it. The judges just need to scores better and quit overscoring their favored pro. He's not the competitor, his partner is and she is not a dancer.
