Michael Jackson's Former Manager Files Creditor's Claim

The King of Pop’s former manager Dr. Tohme Tohme says the Jackson estate owes him money, and "The Insider" has the details.

Tohme contends in a creditor’s claim filed Thursday that he has not received any portion of the managerial fee he and the late star agreed upon in July of 2008: 15 percent Jackson’s gross compensation within the entertainment industry, including live performances, merchandising, electronic arts, recorded and live telecasts, motion pictures and animation projects.

Tohme also claims he entered into an agreement with Jackson in May of 2008 in which Jackson agreed to compensate the doctor for helping enlist Colony Capital LLC to provide $23 million in funds to purchase a promissory note preventing foreclosure on Jackson’s Neverland Ranch. Tohme claims he’s owed $2,300,000 (10 percent of the amount of funding) and 10 percent of the gross proceeds of any sale of the ranch property.

Tohme also says Jackson agreed to reimburse him for “reasonable expenses” connected to his services. Keep checking back here for the latest!

  • it was widespread news that jackson was up to his eyeballs with debts. but if this guy claimimg he was his manager and is owed money, well, he should produced signed contracts indicating this, otherwise he's just trying to cash in....

    • @ jeyne people like these don't care. They didn't care about Michael. He was just something to hang onto and get money from. He used Michael. It means means nothing to them that he is dead. They smell the money and they want some. Even if they don't deserve it.

  • Wasnt he the same person that handed over $5.5 million to the estates and said its Michael's investments money. Wow!! Also wonder what the security camera disclosed at the Holmby Hill home where MJ died. Should be able to see what people were there that night when he died, and who walked out with a bag of money. Didnt they say $5 million was lost from the house.
