"The Insider" has the latest...

Five months after the death of her brother Michael, Janet Jackson is speaking out for the first time about everything from the day Michael died to why she thinks Dr. Conrad Murray is responsible for the King of Pop's death.

"He was the one that was administering," she told ABC's Robin Roberts in an interview airing Wednesday. "I think he is responsible."

Meanwhile, Janet recounts the day Michael died.

"I was at my house in New York. You know, another day. Another morning. And I get a call ... [my assistant] said, 'Your brother's been taken to the hospital. It's on CNN right now,'" she told Roberts. "I called everyone. There's a line busy or -- someone wasn't picking up. I spoke to mother. I spoke to Tito. I spoke to my nephew Austin. I spoke to my sister La Toya."

Janet goes on to say Michael is constantly on her mind.

"It's been a tough year," she said. "You have your days where it's just really -- it's hard to believe. And a day doesn't go by that I don't think about him."

  • I wonder why Dr Murray didn't speak with his family to get him some help like getting him in some treatment center right away. Pushing the meds down in him isn't the answer. Its so sad that we lost this wonderful person MJ. I feel like crying now. I don;t care what people say about MJ. He had a good heart, good spirit, His music speak for it self. Micheal you lives in my heart darling that is why I can wake up listening to your great music baby. God bless your family.

  • A real doctor who sees his patient fading before his eyes doesn't come to his home and help him kill himself only to say to the public " I don't think that I'm responsible for Michael Jackson's death. You gave him the o.k. to die Mr. Murray!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

    • I wished MJ had handle his trouble with not being able to sleep better. But that still doesn't mean he wanted Murray to be kill him. Murray acted like a two bit criminal. He didn't do the job he was hired to do.

    • MJ haters like to hollow how MJ was a drug addict. But I say the only drugs found in MJ system was drugs put there by Dr. Murray.

    • Drugs that surpress MJ breathing...then he top it off with that propofol which stop Michael from breathing. Janet you are so right. He is to blame and it's time for him to pay.

    • It's not fair that Michael had to pay with his life but this Murray is still running around free.

  • If Dr. Murray is responsible for MJ's death he should be behind bars, and the Jackson family should and I hope will make sure that he (Dr. Murray) ends up where he belongs.

    • I agree with you. That's what Joe ought to be fighting for instead of money from Michael' will. Fighting to see his son get justice.

  • I know how you feel Janet. A day don't go by when I don't think of Michael. And shed a tear or two. I also agree that that so call Dr. Murray is responsible for Michael's death.

    • I don't know what's taking the L.A. Police and D.A. so long to charge this lousy so call doctor.
      Anonymous 11/16/09
    • Yes Michael asked for the medicine but Murray could have told him NO. He could have walked out. What kind of doctor would dope Michael up with all that other stuff...then add on that propofol. What kind of doctor would do something like that?
      Anonymous 11/16/09
    • If Murray were going to take this job on he should have been prepared for every and anything that could go wrong. He should have had any medicine he needed or any emergency equipment he might need. The only thing he was interested in was the money he thought he was making.
      Anonymous 11/17/09
    • If Michael begged him for the drugs and Murray thought it was wrong then he should have walked out on Michael. Michael didn't make Murray give him the medicine. Did he?
