Oprah Calls it Quits

Oprah Winfrey is planning to announce that she is ending her show at the end of the 2010 - 2011 television season. That would bring her current broadcast schedule to an end in September of 2011 at the completion of her 25th season.

Sources tell "The Insider" that Lady O will announce the news on tomorrow’s live episode of "The Oprah Winfrey Show."

  • you also have to consider the fact that she may have personal reasons as to why she is calling a quits. For all we know she may be really sick and is just hiding it very well, or she may feel she has reached a goal that she has set for herself while she was just starting out. Who knows.

  • Oprah quitting is no big deal, she was wonderful but in the past few years I have not watched her show every day due to some of the topics some were boring, But I do think that Oprah is the "Johnny Carson" of daytime talk shows.
