Samantha Harris on Conan O'Brien and Kirstie Alley's Feud

Is Conan O’Brien out of line for making jokes about Kirstie Alley’s weight on “The Tonight Show”? “The Insider”’s own Samantha Harris is blogging her thoughts!

“In this case, when we live in a country that is the heaviest in the world, how can you make a joke? It’s a very serious issue, and people struggle every single day," Samantha says. "Obviously Conan is going for a low-blow here.”

But does she think Kirstie is fueling the fire with her retaliatory tweets and references to Conan’s anatomy?

“Definitely Kirstie is playing on the same low-ball field that Conan was there, with some of her comments. And maybe she was, as some would say, asking for him to continue to go after her...”

  • Samantha has nerve!! She and her other cronies are glamorizing Levi the dirt bag and unfairly cutting the heart out of the Palin family. I'm sick of all of it. I quit watching and that goes for the other "I have a TV show so I can make unkind marks about someone's daughter", Mr. David Letterman. It's just not "entertainment" anymore.

  • I did not know where else to go to point out the fact that your friend Star Jones took a personal shot at Conan and at the comedian you had on as a special guest tonight, while blatantly stating that it is "not nice" to do that exact same thing to her or to Kirstie.
