'New Moon' Makes Box Office History at The Insider

The studio behind 'The Twilight Saga: New Moon' tells "The Insider" that the eagerly anticipated vampire sequel sank its fangs into the most profitable, single opening-day ever.

Summit Entertainment estimates that on Friday, ‘New Moon’ raked in $72.7 million in North America, surpassing ‘The Dark Knight’’s debut ($62.2 million).

‘New Moon’ also notched the best gross for midnight shows ever at $26.3 million.

i went to the opening night show and it was sssssooooo awsone, Bella actually looks like a Human in this movie, the lighting was perfect, and even though i'm TOTALY TEAM EDWARD, jacob black was actualy good looking in tghis one!!!! i just can't wait for eclipse to come out on JUNE 30th my brothers birthday!!!!
That will be my present to him!!!!
