Courteney Cox's 'Cougar Town' Postponed Due to a 'Private Family Matter'

"The Insider" has confirmed that the production of Courteney Cox's new show "Cougar Town" has come to halt as the actress is attending to her family.

A rep for ABC released the following statement: "Production on 'Cougar Town' has been temporarily suspended in order for Courteney to tend to a private family matter."

In "Cougar Town," Courteney plays a 40-something woman trying to get on with her life following an ugly divorce by dating younger men. The former "Friends" star is also a producer on the series.
