Is Adam Lambert Too Hot for TV?
After his racy American Music Awards performance, Adam Lambert is at the center of a new controversy over sexuality and censorship.

As he said on "The Early" show today, "It's up to the parent to watch the television, maybe TIVO it and watch it before your kids ... I'm not a babysitter, I'm a performer."

  • He is so completely right. He is a great singer and wonderful performer. I've seen way worse on television and on the computer...People need to except it that their is gay men and women out their. Would anyone have said anything if he kissed a women like that? I'm not gay but these days it's hard to tell what you will see.

  • Adam was trying the shock value thing and it has been done so much and people are just plain tired of it! Why doesn't Adam want to be known for his talent not his sexual preference? Why not be like Anderson Cooper who is respected for his journalism not bed room! This is the "gay" card that gets old! It should be about your talent, you as a person, not that you are gay or not? Also, Adam needs to realize who pays for those cds! Very disrespectful to the parents, I wish he would go away!

  • Adam Lambert is an entertainer, a performer. The remote works...use it if you feel it is too mature or too risque for your children or you....he is no different than Elvis in his time, the Rolling Stones, Kiss, and many others who are simply entertaining....enjoy the show or change the channel

  • He was so wrong to introduce himself with all that sexual act some of us we have time shifting channels and our kids were still up to see this X-rated act. I did not know AMA was promoting sex and lurid acts on stage. I did not even care to listen to the song. He needs to do that act somewhere not on family friendly awards....as far as l know porno industry does not have an award show he needs to tone it down otherwise nobody will really be into him if he starts his career with such a bang

  • Of course not! Stop being silly. Adam Lambert knows how to turn it down a few notches as well as turn up the heat. Anyone who watched him on AI knows he is appropriate at different venues. I'm on Adam Lamberts side, he did nothing wrong at the AMAs.
