Adam Lambert: ABC Did What They Needed To Do

"The Insider" has the latest...

"The Insider" spoke with Adam Lambert this morning just after his "Early Show" appearance where he told us he understood why "Good Morning America" canceled his performance.

"ABC did what they needed to do," he told "The Insider." "I respect their decision. They probably have a lot of politics going on behind the scenes that I don't know about. I just want to do a concert and sing. I'm glad that we got to give a show to the fans who came out. A lot of them traveled to New York so I'm glad that they got a show. That's what matters."

Meanwhile, "Early Show" reporter Maggie Rodriguez said she found Lambert to be very mature and didn't understand why he wouldn't be invited to explain his side of the story.

"I think it was a no-brainer to have him on to answer to his critics, which he did in a very forthcoming way this morning," she told ET. "He was unapologetic, but at the same time admitted that he got carried away and that he's learned from the experience, which I thought was very mature."

  • This guy is an idiot! Parents give the money to those children/youth to buy cds! special shows parents allow their children to stay up for! GET REAL! Adam went to far and who really cares if he is talented anymore - it is all about being gay! He was on public tv not mtv! He is the one who is stupid to know when he should apologize!
