Tareq and Michaele Salahi have turned down the opportunity to appear in Congress on Thursday -- to explain how, exactly, they gained access to the White House State Dinner.

The couple’s publicist says the Salahis have declined to testify because they’ve already furnished lawmakers with information, reports the Associated Press.

The Salahis have released emails through their attorneys that, they say, prove they were invited to the prestigious dinner.

  • WaikikiJim These people have harmed every single American by emboldening terrorists and nuts around the world who wish to hurt the president. While I don't believe the most outlandish claims (such as they are covert agents for some Islamic terror org., even though 'Salahi' does sound foreign), the fact that Bravo would even consider featuring these monsters makes me and my friends all sick. I'm glad Bravo lost "Project Runway" now.
