ABC Cancels Additional Adam Lambert Appearances

The repercussions for Adam Lambert's controversial performance at the American Music Awards just keep on coming. The singer confirms that ABC has cancelled his two upcoming appearances on the network--"Jimmy Kimmel Live!" and "New Year's Rockin' Eve."

Lambert tweeted, "Yes, sadly friends, ABC has cancelled my appearances on Kimmel and NYE. :( don't blame them. It's the FCC heat." Following his AMA performance in which he kissed his male keyboardist and exhibited suggestive choreography, ABC cut him from the "Good Morning America" lineup. He instead was invited to appear as a guest on CBS' "The Early Show."

The "American Idol" runner-up announced to fans on Twitter, "I AM doing Leno though. And lookin into something for NYE." His debut solo album, "For Your Entertainment," is in stores now.

  • GeorgeS21 If it was a lesbian, or a famous female singer that kissed a girl, it would be ok. I find it funny how guys will say, "I hate s....but lesbians are cool." It looks like TV networks have the same mentality as college frat boys and jocks.

  • mrscullen01 Yeah it was a little vuglar but why pink do something like she did and no one rags her like this but they do Adam Lambert?Is it just to because he is gay??I think it is kinda racist that alot of people are judgeing him.I feel like the Insider is agreeing with thim Adam i dont care what you have done i am your biggest fan I love you adam lambert

  • dawna_63 As I said below, innuendos and insults and nastiness seems to abound on T.V. In all shows in primetime and on awards shows. So why pick on this one person. I do not understand that. Oh and not a fan of his either, just of fairness.

  • dawna_63 Doesn't matter if he is gay or not. I saw a lot of other objectionable stuff on those awards shoe so why crucify him. And the language on hosted by some black guy was horrible for T.V. Innuendos and insults and nastiness seem to abound on T.V. No one else is punished.
