"The Insider" has obtained a motion filed on Wednesday by Charlie Sheen’s lawyer Richard Cummins stating that both the actor and his wife, Brooke Mueller, want a judge to dismiss the protection order provided to Mueller.

Earlier in the day, Mueller’s lawyer Yale Galanter told us Mueller and Sheen wanted to get back in contact with each other "so they can work on resolving the conflicts in their marriage."

Keep checking back here for the latest.

  • Barney2009 So, I want to know why Elin Nordegren was not arrested and jailed for domestic violence, ault with a deadly weapon, criminal mischief, etc? What she did was worse than what Sheen did and more obvious (not a "he said; she said" situation like Sheen's). She should have gone to jail, had to post bond and there shoud have been an automatic restraining order placed on the Woods/Nordegren family, as well as intervention on the part of Child Protective services for exposing the children to the domestic violence and potentially endangering them.
