Redmond O’Neal, the son of the late Farrah Fawcett and Ryan O'Neal, is sadly in trouble with the law yet again.

The 24-year-old was arrested on a felony charge on December 29. He was taken to the Los Angeles Men's Central Jail. No bail has been set as of yet.

He is scheduled to appear in court Tuesday morning, according to his booking sheet.

UPDATE: The Los Angeles District Attorney tells ET that Redmond was in court today for a violation of his probation on a drug-related offense. The judge ordered that Redmond go back into an in-custody treatment program. His sentencing will be on February 2.

  • There has to be someone in LA that cares about this child. Somebody please get to him and help him!!!!! His father can't help, because he has his own issues and needs help. He certainly did a number on his kids, and not in a good way.

  • i always have hope now for people like redmond, as robert downey did it, and he was one of the worst (or is) addicts i have ever seen. yes his wife has helped enormously, but he wouldnt be with her without being clean and sober. he must have done 10 rehabs or more. so i do have hope for redmond, it is up to him.

  • sad and tragic that farrah left him all her millions, and i hope it is in a very tight trust fund. beyond that, his own father was caught with drugs with him one time. terrible influence. he is a really bad drug addict and sick. i hope one of these rehab treatments works, as his promise to his mom on her deathbed, sadly, didnt work because he is unable to control it.

  • Youth goes by in a flash, please get the help that you need, before it's to late. Make your mum proud, she from what I read believed in YOU. And for goodness sake don't take advice from your dad, he has proven over and over again how selfish he is. Good luck to you, be strong.
