Go Red For Women mobilizes women to join cause, fight heart disease

This is a great cause that is near and dear to my heart - I ask all of you - if you are able - to give to the cause…it’s a gift for ALL of us!

Heart disease is the #1 killer of women and the numbers are staggering - costing over 349,000 American women their lives each year. And yet many women do not even realize they are at risk - nor do their physicians. Chances are that a significant number of your female readers (or their families) have had their lives touched by heart disease or stroke or will at some point. You have the chance to make a difference by helping us raise awareness.

We want to see red everywhere this February, reminding women nationwide of the urgent need to raise awareness about heart disease and stroke and energize the public to fight for equal prevention, diagnosis, and treatment.

You can get the pins by calling 1-888-MY-HEART. National Celebrity Spokesperson.
