A coroner's office in Britain released findings in the death investigation of Alexander McQueen.

According to the Associated Press, coroner's officer Lynda Martindill said the famed fashion designer died from asphyxiation and hanging. Police detective inspector Paul Armstrong said that foul play is not suspected in the case.

McQueen was found last Thursday in his London apartment, hanging in a wardrobe unit. His death appears to be the result of a suicide. Complete details of the autopsy will become available in a few months, reports the AP.
