Gisele Snags Tom Brady, or Is It the Other Way Around?

Every woman we know liked football last month.  And they all thought the same thing every time the game was on – mmm… Tom Brady is hot… and single!  Now, to the chagrin of sports fans everywhere, only one of the two is true any more.

That’s right, ladies, Brazilian supermodel Gisele Bundchen has taken our latest object of adoration off the market by officially snagging the newly broken up football star.  Oh, Tom Brady, how we mourn the bouncing gridiron babies we could have had with you.

Gisele, who spent five years in an on-again, off-again relationship with Leonardo DiCaprio, was most recently coupled up with surfer Kelly Slater (who incidentally has since been linked to the rebounding Cameron Diaz).  Tom, meanwhile, dated actress/model Bridget Moynahan for the last three years until their breakup a month ago.

While we’re partial to Tom, ourselves, we can acknowledge that both superstars are pretty good catches (no football puns intended).  So, we’re wondering, of this beautiful twosome, who pursued whom?

Gisele was once quoted as calling Tom “pretty cute”, and was seen waiting outside the Patriots’ locker room after their playoff win against the Chargers a few weeks back.  Tom, on the other hand, was spotted glued to his cell phone while out partying with his boys last week, leaving onlookers to speculate that he was waiting for a call from his new lady love.  Seems that we missed our chance at the quarterback, which really makes us wish that we’d had tickets to that playoff game.
