Cameron Diaz Caught Up in NYC Club Raid
Cammie was enjoying a night out at The Box, when the cops showed up and started checking ID's and searching peeps for drugs. The Box is apparently a "dinner theater" of sorts, at which risqué performances by performers can be witnessed at private tables with the curtains pulled tight. Kinky. However, on this particular evening, the show never got off the ground, since the raid began before things could even get started, according to Page Six:

"They never started the show," said a witness. "It was all cops on stage. The worst part was, they weren't letting anyone leave."

"It was really weird," agreed one nightlife fixture who was there. "The cops were standing outside, personally checking everyone's IDs as they were going in. Bizarre."


Among Cameron Diaz, other celebrities in attendance, who managed to sneak out in the knick of time were Cuba Gooding Jr. and Jay-Z. I swear, every time I've ever been out at "Big Fat Dick" at FuBar in West Hollywood, I felt sure that some of the shenanigans going on on-stage were going to somehow end up with me getting arrested. But, I guess when you name an event "Big Fat Dick," that sort of goes without saying.
