Hot Hollywood Hunk: Viggo Mortensen

Ladies, there's been something missing in our lives for awhile, but that's finally about to change.  We're talking, of course, about Viggo Mortensen's hot self up on the big screen.

The studly actor, who gained fame with his role in the Lord of the Rings Trilogy, is starring in the upcoming film "Eastern Promises".  The movie looks intense, but maybe that's just Viggo's rugged brow.

Viggo isn't just another pretty face, though.  The multi-talented star is a published poet and author, a painter, and a photographer.  Viggo also speaks seven languages (yes, seven!).  We're not sure how sweet nothings sound whispered in Danish, but we're willing to find out from this dual citizen hottie.

What do you think of Viggo Mortensen?  What's your favorite movie that he's been in?

  • I had read LOTR many times before they ever put it into a movie, and I always visualized Aragorn looking just like Viggo. When I saw him playing that part in the movie, it just blew me away!

  • Thank you SO much for this. I was a big fan of him back in the LOTR days and I still like his work! Loved him in A Walk On The Moon and in 28 Days (not the movie so much, just him, lol). Can't wait for Eastern Promises.
