Gwen Stefani is going to let you in on a little secret. It’s a secret shared by Denise Richards, Reese Witherspoon, and Courtney Cox, as well as a bevy of other celebrities. Know what it is? Well, let’s just say that it helps to be a “Rich Girl” when it comes to losing baby weight.
People are always amazed to see how svelte and fit celebrity moms like Gwen look so soon after having their little bundles of joy. What the public doesn’t seem to realize is that these women have resources and entire staffs of people to help them get back down to a size 0.
Gwen revealed to Elle magazine that not only did she work out like a fiend throughout her entire pregnancy, only stopping in the last two weeks before giving birth to her son Kingston, but as soon as he was born she was back on the treadmill. Mrs. Gavin Rossdale set a goal to achieve pre-pregnancy level fitness within a mere three months after the birth. Three months!? It’s taken us three months just to lose the Thanksgiving weight!
You’d better believe that the pop singer and L.A.M.B. designer had help, though. She says she worked with a personal trainer to keep her going strong. A paid staff seems like it’d be a great motivator for losing weight – if you stop losing the weight, you really start losing the money. But the biggest incentive for Gwen to burn off those pounds? She says it’s because she likes “wearing cute clothes”.
