Ask the Insider: Travis Barker and Shanna Moakler Together Again?

Q:  Why did Travis Barker and his ex-wife Shanna Moakler show up at the MTV Awards together? They looked so lovey-dovey—aren’t they divorced? Or just separated?

 

A: A lot of people were confused about that one. (Especially after their infamous public skirmish on the battlegrounds of Myspace). The truth (and the answer to your question) is that Travis and Shanna are reunited and it feels so good!

 

Travis and Shanna are super cute together. I actually think theirs is a pretty realistic relationship (sans the internet fighting). What I mean is that they are not unrealistically copasetic all the time: they didn’t claim to have an “amicable separation” when they didn’t. Yes, they could have kept the gory details of their breakup to themselves—(did we really need to know how exactly how graphically Travis hooked up with Paris to spite Shanna? TMI, people!)—but in general, I think their only fault as a couple has been riding the inevitable ups and downs of the romantic rollercoaster in public.

  • I agree that their relationship is realistic and normal. I don't think they are especially cute together or anything, but I think they are normal and realistic, if not a bit immature. I am glad they were able to salvage their marriage.
