Roundup: Celeb Romance Rumors!

Justin Timberlake and Rihanna

It pains me to beget this rumor (and I do sincerely hope it is a rumor): Justin Timberlake and Rihanna hooked up post-VMA’s this past weekend.

A number of sources (including a couple other well-known actors and musicians) maintain that Rihanna became noticeably absent from the Palms’ after-party at the same moment Justin did—and neither of them were seen for the rest of the evening.

A source says: "Justin and Rihanna were hanging out and [talking] for a while. Then they both got up all nonchalant and left together ... It was crazy because Jessica [Biel] was there and she was looking all over for [Justin] ... Poor girl."

Now, I don’t dislike Justin Timberlake. I may or may not even have impure thoughts about him from time to time. But if this is true, I can only suggest that perhaps the sexy JT brought back has gone missing once again. Perhaps homely sexpot Jessica Biel and Rihanna’s rumored boyfriend as of late, the monumentally talented actor Shia LeBouf, get in sync as soon as possible.

Reese Witherspoon and Jake Gyllenhaal

Reese Witherspoon and Jake Gyllenhaal give me hope for celebrity couplings. They are subtle, mature, and intelligent. They are not shoving their romance down our throats by shoving their tongues down each others throats in front of Hyde Lounge.

With that said, we would love to hear them confirm what we already know is true. For their sake (you don’t have to hide any more, guys!) and our sake (we can finally give them a nickname.) For now, though, they are remaining tight-lipped. When asked about ‘dating rumors’, Reese told ETOnline:

“It’s crazy and funny how much people can make stuff up. I’m actually interested to hear what they say next. We [Jake and Reese] never discussed that. I just have to laugh at a lot of stuff.”

While promoting their latest film, Rendition, Reese and Jake were careful to keep at least a few feet between them at all times (a la Angie and Brad circa 2205). Although neither could hide their glowing complexion. Could that be the look of love?
